As we all know, the Bulls missed the playoffs for just the second time in ten years. So, who do we root for in this year’s NBA playoffs?

The answer for most of us is: anybody but the Warriors or Cavs. Though there are two teams with rosters loaded with familiar faces.

Minnesota TimberBulls

The Wolves are coached by former Bulls coach and permanent scratchy voice having Tom Thibodeau.

Former Bulls on roster:

Jimmy Butler (2012-2017)

Derrick Rose (2009-2016)

Taj Gibson (2010-2017)

Aaron Brooks (2015-2016)

The former-Bull loaded Timberwolves are not looking too good this post season as they trail the #1 seeded Rockets 2-0 in the best of 7 first round.

New Orleans PeliBulls

Former Bull, Rajon Rondo has been on his normal playoff tear as he is averaging 13 assists in the first two playoff games. I am still confident as hell that the Bulls would have swept the top-seeded Boston Celtics in the first round last season if Rondo did not get hurt.

Former Bulls on roster:

Nikola Mirotic (2015-2018)

Rajon Rondo (2017)

E’Twaun Moore (2015-2016)

The Pelicans also have Chicago-native and potential future Bull, Anthony Davis on the roster.

Leading the Trailblazers 2-0 in the first round, it’s looking good for the Pelicans

So, Bulls fans; We have two teams to root for here. Who do you like best?
